To Be Held 29 October–2 November 2016 in Vienna, Austria 

Princeton, NJ—September 12, 2016—The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) announced plenary sessions and speakers for its 19th Annual European Congress that will be held 29 October–2 November 2016 in Vienna, Austria. The congress will explore topics related to the conference theme—Managing Access to Medical Innovation: Strengthening the Methodology-Policy Nexus.

The first plenary session, What Synergies Could Be Created Between Regulatory and Health Technology Assessments, is scheduled for Monday, 31 October 2016 and will explore potential synergies in the work and processes of regulators and health technology assessment (HTA) bodies that could be realized by addressing roadblocks in the European Union (EU) health sector ecosystem.
