ISPOR India-Mumbai Chapter Recent Accomplishments 

Chapter President Dr. Amit Dang and Ms. Dimple Dang delivered a guest lecture on “The Role of Health Economics and Outcomes Research & Real World Evidence in Healthcare decision Making” and “Healthcare Outcomes Management Using Big Data Analytics” to the PGDM – Healthcare Management students of Goa Institute of Management on Feb’ 13th 2018. During the 2nd Indian Medical Affairs Summit, chapter leader Mr. Mahendra Rai presented on “Justifying the Value Proposition: Local Value Dossiers” and Dr. Amit Dang presented on “Value of Medical Affairs to HEOR” on 10th Mar’ 2018. Member of ISPOR India Amaravati Chapter assists with Cholera Outbreak in India

A member from the ISPOR India -Amaravati regional chapter, Chalaapthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, provided medical support assistance for patients afflicted during a sudden outbreak of Cholera in Guntur district in March 2018. ISPOR New Zealand Held Its Annual General Meeting

The ISPOR New Zealand Chapter held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday April 18, 2018 in Auckland, New Zealand. As part of the scientific presentations during the meeting, the event featured two speakers on the practical use of health technology assessment in New Zealand, and two speakers on measuring and understanding people’s preferences for health states to inform clinical and funding decisions.
